Staff consciousness about what is expected by the management - why and how - is decisive for any improvement process.
Technical improvements can never stand alone – and neither can training by the way.
We believe in training close to praxis and often you will see your staff discussing dilemmas, being trained directly in the workshop or in other ways relating the training to their own daily life. In order to get a long lasting effect of training the “what has this got to do with me” and “what is in it for me” aspect must always be clear.
Another necessary means to create a long lasting effect that “converts knowledge into tools and action” is follow up. One or two day training can rarely do the job in itself, but on the other hand follow up does not have to require abundant resources – or external resources for that matter.
